“Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable.”

This verse from 1 Corinthians and a small wreath has been woodburned by hand into a piece of basswood. The wood has been finished with a polycrylic gloss. The wood sign is ready to be displayed on an easel or easily hung on the wall with the pre-installed sawtooth hangers. See photos for details.
